List of experts who served on the SMC’s expert panel to develop the 2024-2029 Research Agenda

The expert panel that developed the SMC’s 2024-2029 Research Agenda consisted of nine technical experts – one from each of nine technical fields – plus three additional members to represent regulated, regulatory, and non-governmental organizations.

The expert panel convened by the SMC and facilitators gather at SCCWRP for a workshop in fall 2024. The panel developed the SMC’s 2024-2029 research agenda, which offers a five-year roadmap for how the SMC will collaboratively pursue research to improve runoff water quality.

The SMC hand-selected these experts – who have regional to international expertise in their fields – to serve on the panel. The panel’s charge was to:

  • Develop a cohesive list of project concepts that will support stormwater management needs and address issues of concern
  • Create a written summary of these project concepts for future use by the SMC
